La Joncosa de Montmell is perfectly located, surrounded by nature and tranquillity in the hills of El Montmell, but with a convenient road network that takes you to the motorways in less than 15 minutes. From there, you can drive directly to popular destinations such as Sitges, Barcelona or Tarragona.

The beautiful beaches of the Costa Daurada are also very easy to reach. From the village, you can be at the sea within 20 minutes. In the coastal towns such as Calafell, Sant Salvador, Coma Ruga, Altafulla, and La Mora, there are various restaurants, bars and terraces where you can enjoy Vermut (Catalan for "aperitif time") or a delicious Catalan lunch, the comida.

  • Montferri: Known for the Santuario de Montferri, a unique church on a hilltop designed by Josep Maria Jujol, a student and collaborator of Gaudi. This church is also known as the little Sagrada Familia.
  • Santes Creus: Here you will find the Monestir de Santes Creus, an impressive medieval monastery that is part of the famous Cistercian Route (Ruta del Cister).
